The Homeownership Center of North Texas (THC) is a community resource that provides homeownership preparation through comprehensive counseling, training and education.  It is the place to go for consumers who want to become financially fit, achieve homeownership or prevent foreclosure.

The THC strives to increase successful homeownership through homebuyer preparation, homeownership preservation and foreclosure prevention. THC provides financial education coaching, one-on-one home ownership counseling, foreclosure prevention seminars, homebuyer education classes and self-help resources including:

• Pre-purchase homebuyer workshops and counseling
• Mortgage default & delinquency counseling
• One-on-one credit counseling
• Self-help library and Internet-based education and training resources
• Financial literacy seminars and self-help training
• Senior education and fraud prevention counseling
